I don't know if this relates...if not Fred could just remove it but it is a small house I had in Texas that I remodeled last year. The bathroom tile was in very rough shape but it was the correct style for the age of the house. We decided to spray over the existing tile, shower and tub with the epoxy product used to re-finsih bath tubs. Turned out very nice. Very tough finish should last a long time.

seriously, how would you ever get a two part on and have time to do corrections..

Your biggest problem will be totally stripping every molecule of soap or wax. The tiniest speck and it will fisheye. I've had good success with a small roller, the tiny ones. No sponge rollers. It will put down a good smooth layer and it self-levels well.
