The LGR 2800i refrigerant dehumidifier offers exceptional performance across the full range of jobsite conditions – in low humidity environments and even at high temperatures (up to 125°F). The unit is engineered for the heavy demands of water damage restoration and rental use. A rugged rotomolded housing and durable construction make this Dri-Eaz dehumidifier a top choice for professionals everywhere

Built-in sensors read and display inlet and outlet temperatures and RH on a user-friendly control panel. Since the sensors are always in the air stream and therefore always adapted to the surrounding climate, the system produces more consistent, accurate readings and saves significant time over using hand-held meters.

What do you think?

The are developing a boot to fit on the unit that you can duct hot dry air where you want it.

It would be nice for ducting beneath poly sheeting on floors.

almost like a wet dream... niow when will it be available in 220v and how much :?:

The 2000 pulls $5300+tax over here. The 2400 isn't available in 220v (anymore)

I often run my existing 2000's with ducting into areas like under baths, into cavities etc but like you said Richard, high static pressure would be nice.

that looks like the machine that would make me buy it over another phonenix 200 max, the price doesn't seem that far away from it. keep in mind the phoenix is capable of ducting air as well, infact I have gotten to where I do it on every job, I attach about a 12ft piece of lay flat duct on my phoenix 200's this gets the hot dry air away from the unit itself and keeps if from just recirculating back into the unit, I have noticed a difference in drying performance.

They are suppose to debut at Connections, but I think most distributors are taking orders already.

It looks like a nice unit!

So Steve if its not ducted then some of the dry air is cycled back through the system?

Would you get drier process air or would we be pushing the machines ability?

yeah I think virtually all dehus that are not ducting air away are recirculating dry hot air back through the dehu to an extent. imagine how many times you have set a dehu in a hallway the exhaust is blowing right against the wall and up, you have to think alot of that is going back into the dehu. I am folding up about a 12 ft piece of lay flat duct and putting inside the top cover on my phoenix units. that way its already there to put on, I then take this and duct it away into the air movers, I think it been making a noticable difference in my drying jobs, how many times have you heated and dryed the heck out of one bedroom the one that the dehu was setup in, while the rest of the rooms didn't get near the heat or drying, this helps distrubute the heat and dry air better, more moist air in the dehu means your getting more work out of the unit.

I always direct/duct the air from the dehus straight inot the side of an air mover or back of an ace.

At least I know I'm getting max benefit out of the system, whatever that system might be.

Secondly, it amazes me the number of jobs I see/get called onto for 'consulting' that the equipment is ineffeciaently set up. Possibly the right amount of equipment, but not working to it's max efficiency.

From what we've been hearing on feedback from the industry, this is the leader of the pack. It is the first dehu from Dri-Eaz with built-in remote moisture monitoring capabilities, I do believe.
