How do you guys deal with the heat? It's hitting around 100 degrees and I have to clean patio furniture on the roof of the high rise in the picture. What do you do to work in the heat?

Good sunscreen, stay hydrated, bring a misting bottle of cool water to spray on yourself periodically. My van doesn't have air conditioning so I spray water in front of the vent fans and let it blow it over me. Works pretty good. Wet your hair down, if you have any left that is.

Yup, it’s hot out.... the side of my garage....
We’re booked out 3 weeks, and working 6 days a week.
my secret is 50% coconut water, mixed with 50% pure mango juice. I’ve got a few white cotton tee shirts that I’ve made into head rags. I soak them in ice cold water, and wipe my face, neck, and arms every 15 minutes....A856A15A-D3E4-41FE-A552-5121107E0C93.jpeg

Cheapest bath towel Walmart sells
(they were $3 bukz when I was still on the truck)
Wore around the neck to keep sweat from dripping all over the custy's house and upl.
Long enough they stay around your neck while working(unlike spotting towels)
But not large and heavy like good bath towels
and 100% pure cotton

on the most miserable hot 'n humid days, I'd wet one end of the towel for a cool wipe

I bought 'em by the dozen or more.
kept several in the van and never left home without 'em

Leave my doughnut out of it.
Doing great actually. Just busier than a cat on a hot tin roof. Between CC, farming, family, and trying to build other businesses....
111 on Wednesday in Kelowna Jeff. Enjoy! We're still looking in the interior. I made damn sure the search specifics included air conditioning.

We just had AC installed... just in time I guess. We also installed a heater in the pool, had a new ladder installed, installed irrigation in the berry field, building an ewok (sp?) village in the forest, and trying to juggle family life....
We are having 80 people over for Canada Day....

San Francisco is usually consistently comfortable, and it is Today as well.
Sunny on the Bay side- overcast on the coast side.
We snowflakes cry when it is below 55 and above 75. 🤣

In was only in the 80's here today. Good thing, I helped move a co-worker and overcast skies were a break.

Up & down stairs made me feel old. We loaded and delivered 2 loads in the uhaul.

Kicked my butt, I'm dead, I'll sleep good tonight. Those stairs just took everything I had. I'm just glad it wasn't 20° hotter, which it was last week. 🥴

I think your asking the wrong people. We stayed in Las Vegas a couple years ago and it was 120 degrees out and we stayed on the 21st floor. outside our window there was a worker WELDING beams for anther high rise hotel. Should ask him.....

104 degrees today. Delivered rugs and did 3 jobs. Drank 8 bottles of water so far, plus orange juice and 2 glasses of water in the morning and 1 beer just now. Gotta stay hydrated.
