Hello Everyone!
After some research on Reddit about carpet cleaning related things, a poster referred me to Mikey and Green Glides.
I spoke to Mikey this morning and he mentioned this gem of a board.
I am a newbie to all things related to carpet and floor cleaning. Other than renting out some brutal carpet cleaner from Home Depot to clean my carpet, my experience is limited. This business idea came to me after I needed my linen couch cleaned and found a lack of companies that do front-end marketing well (website, seo, crm systems, sales, etc). My back-round is in tech, where I spent 5-years building back-to-front-end systems. I am however, born-and-raised on the farm, so getting my hands dirty is a-part of the fun.
Right now, I am in my research phase of finding out best practices for the trade, including getting my IICRC, set-ups (truck mounted, etc), finding a niche (commercial v.s. residential), etc.
Anyways, that's my first post. Looking forward to hearing from all the Grizzled Vets on this forum.
Thanks
Colton
