Help, black rubber bled orange

We've got a large orange colored stain on white nylon carpet from the black rubber protective rim on the base of a large decorative pole fan.

I have tried different solvents, strippers and bleaches all to no avail. Anyone had any success with this type of stain.

are you sure it's from the rubber rim and not rust from metal?
(if the fan base is metal)

I'm leaning toward rust too since it's orange. Vac-a-way Rust Assasin has been my go to for rust.

Otherwise I'd try stain magic or an oxidizer first. Put some plastic on it to increase dwell time.

If that don't get it try a Reducer.....or a dye remover. Just my guess from it being orange.....I seriously doubt the rubber is doing it.

Thanks Tim p and MEat, I ahve been in this business for a few years (26 to be exact) and I think I would know rust if i saw it. :-)

None the less, I did test an area with our rust remover with no positive results.
