Help locating a starter

I got the point but according to you she doesn't have access to the resources necessary to search for odd ball parts. I live in a rural area where logging and fishing are king and local parts stores routinely have to find shit no ones heard of since Christ was a kid. Ask your wife for a fuel injector for a 1942 Hercules DOOC diesel engine ( auxiliary hydraulic system on a 1938 52' salmon boat) From what you said the look you'll get is a deer in the headlights look . I didn't get new ones but they were able to send mine off and had them rebuilt i had um back in 10 days

It’s been years since I’ve been here and of course I need something. The starter still works but the solenoid cracked. I can push the crack together and it starts. It needs to be replaced. I’ve searched but come up with nothing. These may be the wrong numbers but it’s what I can see. I don’t feel like pulling it. I called the engine builder and they said the part is obsolete. Thanks for any help.

Try to find a company in your area that specializes in rebuilding starters and alternators such as this one below they might be able to help you if not finding you a new maybe will rebuild yours
