King David, Noah and Abraham mixed religion with politics.
They also literally heard God verbally speak to them. Different times and culture you can't really apply to today in politics. Totally different form of government and really different laws.

The politics then were built on family bloodlines that were chosen by the Almighty. Not democrat vs republican in democracy or republic (whatever side you think our govt Is on)

Congrats Mikey. I respect you for having an opinion and leaving it up for folks to see.
Unlike Kenny.
Im not real sure why your taken exception with me when we both know they didn’t put on the full armor, which you didn’t say anything about. So, if I were to be called to jury duty in that case, would I merely say, I can’t serve because I can’t cast a stone.

You hear God speak to you, or you should, through His word and if you’re a leader and DONT follow His word in the way you govern, then that’s a sin.
I agree with you.

But I"m right also. Someone in his position shouldn't be blasting all over the media who his spiritual advisers are. Because those people know that their church is about to grow financially in a very fast way. And greed and pride follow with that kind of fame behind it.

If Trump kept the people private, it wouldn't be where it is now

Besides, none of that had anything to do with politics even though I did mention them as advisors! I was merely pointing out two charlatans who are in it for the money period. Stone thrown! Jesus had no trouble
calling it as it was.

You’re just being stubborn now. You said nothing previously about Trump identifying his spiritual mentors. What you actually said was religion shouldn’t be mixed with politics. That’s neither Biblical nor constitutional. Accusing a man of God (I’m not making any judgement of Trump) of trying to buy votes because he proclaims his faith and the Word of God as the basis of his political views is spiritually immature and socially irresponsible.

I practiced till nearly perfect in my own marriage.

and if I slip a little, He catches me quickly.

I only answer to One.

and I know he's very pleased with my sanctification so far.

as is my wife, despite our many differences, yet with no ability to discuss them..

(but I did remove a slew of Libby Lunatic FB friends today, but that has nothing to do with beliefs, I just don't want to see how dumb people I use to associate have become)

RIP Rubber Room...

There's a different between using your spiritual ethics to do your job vs pushing your beliefs on the people you[re trying to get a vote from.

Yes, the constitution was written within the boundaries of our Christian God being the head, but if you're not getting my point, then I don't know what to say

There's so many religions. Just show your ethics. No need to publicize the people who might be wolf in sheep clothing.

This just shows that both sides has it's faults. I just chose the one with the least chance of being evil.

Can we all agree that if we can live by the Big Ten (ot), and use Paul's letters (nt) as our rule and guide books, there's really not much else to confuse, condemn or convolute?

All the rest is just man made fluff or anecdotal stories that are too easily misconstrued.

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, non absorbent low moisture carpet cleaning, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God

If Marty doesn’t laugh at that, then he might be the wolf in sheep’s clothing. That’s why he keeps arguing

You really have no point.
You’re just babbling in your stubbornness.
I’m gonna keep being stubborn

I voted for Trump. He is the better of the two choices. But he is still wicked just like you and I are wicked

Don’t put your faith in man

Psalm 14:1 (Legacy Standard Bible)

For the choir director. Of David.

The wicked fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They act corruptly, they commit abominable deeds; There is no one who does good.

Nowhere did I say he wasn’t wicked. I said just the opposite. I did say we all put Christ on the cross and that Kenny could cast the first stone.
But you beat him too it.
