I have a church that we clean on a regular basis. They have a gymnasium that has carpeted walls all the way around and want to get them cleaned. I measured today and they have 1,700 Sq ft of carpet. The tricky thing is that its on the wall and it goes up 9 ft high. It's pretty dirty in spots but overall not to bad. Really have no idea on how to price this since I never cleaned a carpeted wall. Would you price this higher than your normal commercial rates or keep it the same? Just seems like it might be a pain to clean. Any input would be appreciated.

Depends on 1. what your reg price is and 2. is it soiled or going to just need a light spray and vacuum. You can get very high production rates on walls if they are easily accessible and not spoiled. 9 ft hih is very reachable from standing position using a wand.

I think it was before Service Monster. We had to fire them for some issues they had.

I would do it at $1.00 per square foot.

9 ft can be reached with a regular floor tool but it might be a little much in the flow dept.

I did some many years ago for another company.

Same thing 9ft high for a small college.

They listed it a halls and not walls and priced it for.10 a square ft.

It was a real mess. Not to clean. But, to re-adjust the price.
