I think it would do really well. just make sure you can get a pad driver and a nylon brush for carpets to fit it. that has a strong motor so it could power through the heaviest pile carpet. most 175s range from 1 to 1.5 hp if that is really a 1.75 hp it will power through most anything for really heavy duty scrubbing

Thanks Jon. I just need to find someone that could find the pad driver and brush. I think this company was bought out.

Betco bought them out. I would call Betco, and find out what clutch plate you need. The pad driver would be a 17" one with a riser, the brush would be a 15" block, with bristles that flare out to 17". Powr-flite, Cleanfreak, and some other companies can sell you the brush and pad drivers, and maybe get you the right clutch plate.
