I'm having trouble with my cat pump (it doesn't engage when I hit the pump switch) and I think its the electric clutch, because its on the same circuit that gives power to the chemical metering system, which is working fine, so I don't think its a power supply/wiring issue. Is there any way to disable the clutch so that its effectively allways engaged? I may be missing something but I don't see the point in having a separate switch just for the pump, cause if I turn my machine on I'm turning it on to clean not just suck. I have a Hydra master CDS 4.0.

There is a threaded hole on the pulley that you can put a 1/2" long 1/4-20 thread bolt into to effectively disable the clutch. It's good practice to buy this bolt ahead of time because you will eventually need it.

Thanks,
Lee
