Poop is cleaned up lol....the lady was so embarrassed she didn't even tell anyone, she skipped out on her bill too.
What really pissed me off is that I found out this morning from the other manager that she lives 4 blocks away and could've met me there last night instead of me having to come in so early....:hopeless:.

Sounds like a sh!tty deal........Sorry I couldn't help myself....

So it was a manager or worker who pooped herself? How could a customer meet you there last night? Seems like the plot thickens........

Love eggs, hate McDonalds! My husband makes the best "McGeorge" ever! Lol...he uses bacon instead of ham. And if it ain't a Thomas English Muffin I won't eat it.

Lol! A customer shit herself, went from her table to the bathroom, back to her table and then left without telling anyone or paying her check. The main manager called me and we worked it out that I would come in at 5:00 am to clean it and get it dry by opening at 6:00.
When I got there that morning the assistant manager asked me why I didn't set it up for the previous night. She said she only lives 4 blocks away and would've gladly met me there. The other manager did not think to offer that as an option. :hopeless:

When people suffer the unimaginable, they do the unthinkable at times.

What you did by going in at that hour and taking care of it should assure you a customer for life, though sadly managers aren't the same as owners in the way of continued support in a business relationship.

Lee Stockwell summed it up best:

"Its what we do"

We've been cleaning for them for years. I just recently raised the price $100 per restaurant too. They got new carpet because apparently they had to trench their slabs for some reason. The new carpet is awful! The only way to clean it is with the Rotovac brush head and it takes longer so I sold her on it. So that job alone is paying for the RV! As soon as my hubby is feeling better I'm going to have him video for me while cleaning it...it will make a good YouTube video of the great job that head does.

Everyone wants to see the poop trail....

We would installed sheet vinyl from the bed to bathroom for older people who had accidents and made it easier for the care takers to cleanup.... You should see how nasty the carpet is that gets pulled out...............

I was babysitting my 3 year old grandson. Had him 20 minutes across town while I was taking care of my father. 3 year old is regressing in his potty training. (I was uninformed and would have been prepared) He was walking like he needed to go so I said lets go to the bathroom. He is in denial. No papa I do not need to use the bathroom. A couple minutes later there is this awful smell....

I had to finish with dad---no facility to clean the little guy. 40 minutes later after stuffing a bunch of paper towels down his pants I get him home to the tub. Poor little guy was all rashed up. He was crying on the way home. I kept asking if he learned anything----Yes Papa---I'm sorry---

But grandkids are awesome...

Actually, I've been thinking about getting trained and certified for trauma scene and meth lab clean up. Not sure about what it would entail equipment wise though.
As for my hair color, she didn't exactly do it the way I had wanted but it was her first time using these colors lol. But it'll do for now. I'm just glad to have short hair again! Long is prettier but I just don't have the time or energy to do it everyday so I went for easy peasy....

Not much equipment wise, more safety and the process to be safe.

Meth lab here, the landlord has the responsibility for payment. It sounded like to much of a struggle to get paid, so we don't offer it.

Thank you Marty and Jim! I appreciate the compliment! Hearing it from you guys actually does make me feel better about it....:) I'm pretty sure if it looked bad I would've got a good ribbing from at least some of you! :eekk:

As for the meth lab clean-up, that is good info.....I wouldn't want to have to fight the landlord for payment and I can imagine that would happen a lot. I'm actually surprised that isn't something being built into insurance policies nowadays. But now that you mention it, I recall last year we did a job for a property manager where the tenants had a grow room in the basement and due to improper ventilation etc. there was mold, and the smell was awful! And insurance did not pay for that.
As for the trauma scene, I am definitely going to look into that so I can offer a service where even if I only did a few jobs a month it would take the place of other services that I don't want to offer anymore. Like air ducts and dryer vents...I just don't feel comfortable doing them myself. And I've got a good friend who does home remodeling and handyman work who wants to get certified with me and work with me on those jobs.

A new industry training conference and trade show this year called NeXus. They include 6 short training seminars to get you started and see if you want to go further in certain areas. This year includes meth lab clean-up and trauma scene. Held in Atlanatic City New Jersey. You could make a business trip back home, tax deduction and get an idea of what is involved.
