Hey carpet cleaner dudes, how much resilient flooring are you cleaning in homes?

That's what triggered me to get out of it. The whole floor clouded over and I thought I tested it correctly for wax. After a $500 repair and losing the customer, I immediately dropped that service

I've seen this happen to guys too often

The question asked made me take another look at our draft financials for y/e Mar..
Our total revenue up substantially on previous year but while carpet remained static so down as a %.
Resilient up to 8.5% of rev (previous year 3%) In total we had a three-fold increase in hard floor work.
Our figures don't differentiate between commercial and domestic but most would be commercial.

We did 8000 sqft of ‘resilient’ rubber flooring over the weekend….

Not so resilient, not a good choice for a commercial setting.

Scuff marks like crazy, dents and blemishes due to rough handling of office furniture.

However, we found success in using a CRB, W/ a rinse @400 PSI, and a post mop with a cheap, brilliant product we stumbled upon…

Can we clean it? Yes.

Can we repair the damage? No.

Did you use a truckmount or a driving or walk behind floor machine?

Heck no! It was in a bank, and their wealth management side right next door. There’s NO WAY I could have used a ride on, or walk behind machine….

The downtown location, with street people galore!
Pure grit, determination, my Prochem 6 jet, mikes brush glide, and my helper’s attitude, and attention to detail….

It was hell, but, we prevailed!!!

Not looking forward to the fall turn on this one!

Idiot....now we're going to have to hear about the many real friends he has (more than anyone here) and how those relationships are deeper than other people's friendships
Always a good time.

I’m just helping him with the new 2.0.

"Friends" is such a misused and misunderstood word.

There are people we know, there are people we like, there are people we trust....but none of that means they are necessarily "friends".

Mike's been my friend from the days where he thought the Vortex was the only machine to clean with, and Evan from ICS was his personal project to annoy, through his conversion from Californian to Nevadan...and his conversion from agnostic to believer.

A late true friend of mine once told me:

"Friends are people you like, even though you know them so well..."

If we're not talking or texting many times a month, you're an acquaintance or professional college.

My best friends and I talk a few times a week.

By that definition, I have no friends...😂😂😂😂😂

If I didn’t have work, I’d be that guy people would find when the mail started piling up, or the stench of decay made it to the street 😂

This is pretty much me when unexpected visits, calls, or texts arrive

Regardless, some day we'll be bunkmates at my cabin, I got places you, my friend, need to see.
