If he had a vacuum with a clear canister he wouldn't need to waste his time like that.
I figure if I painted my canister black I'd have to vacuum more, but not like that.
1. find which way stands the pile up, or loops, when you pull the vacuum back
2. move the vac at half that speed knowing that the power stroke is forward, not back
3. Overlap the pass 50%
4. If you really think its soiled, vacuum at 90 degrees, always trying to stand the pile.
Learn the areas where heavy soil is located:
carpet-hard surface interfaces
beside beds
in front of recliners, chairs and sofas that are freq used
the bottom step, the top step ie top of stairs at the hall
any heavy traffic area
areas of pooling or the line of pile reversal
entrances
any area there had been renovations, ie gyprock sanding
You'll pick up more soil, maximizing your time

All I can say is Ron's video's inspired me to vacuum Ty Ron. I agree with vacuuming more in certain area's love the clear canister to
see dirt removal.
Got 8 cups of dirt out a 2 by 2 backdoor slider packed out from dogs carpet was actually stiff from dirt. Thier vacuum just broke ya

The guy is a vacuum salesman. I just noticed at the end, he recommends getting a machine with a self propelled ability. WHat vacuum other than a POS Kirby has this feature? He did the video to sell Kirbys. He's still selling.

Aside from going in & out all the time with your shoes on....why does it bother the carpet???
or is this just shit made up just cuz???
Cuz once you walked your 10' or so on the carpet, if you never go back out side, then you aint tracking shit on it...i mean look at your shoes, do they have stuff just falling off them???
And for that matter Barefeet....ifn you go outside with them, shit still sticks to your feet...ANDDDDD do your feet not have some natural oils in them??? hummmm

I don't know the answer but I do that the customers who insist on everyone taking off their shoes at the door generally have cleaner carpet.
