For about the last 5 years or so, idle speed (with & without load) has been controlled by the engine computer.

Diesels are RPM controlled by fuel injection pulse width.

It can be changed to any RPM required.

Now, ignition timing, fuel mixture, cooling fans, RPM limits, and torque limits
are ALL controlled by the computer.

Yes...an' i laugh and laugh when i hear about all your fuel pumps goin' bad and slippin' belts and stuck diverter valves an' what ever ELSE that goes wrong wit your new crap ya buy....yous kiddies crack me up....really!

Never have used DIVERTER valves.

Not reliable IMO.

Still use belt drive systems, since they give the longest blower lifetime,
by absorbing engine pulsations.

A google search came up with 3 places that had them in stock, also on Ebay there are 3 ebay stores with them in stock.
