The 2 biggest distributors in the Vancouver area have been bought by Bunzl. One sells Cleanco, one sells Sapphire/Chemspec. There's only one independent selling Hydramaster and the owner of that one,um, lacks respect from and for the cleaners. Should get interesting.

So how will that effect YOU?
I dunno Mike. I'm not sure it's good for business when one company gets it's claws into too much of any one market. I don't buy much from either one, but the smaller guys I deal with will feel the pinch because they won't be able to compete price wise. That and as Ken says, some folks don't deal with one or the other and thats sure to cause some bruises.
