If I ate that Christmas eve dinner, my wife wouldn't let me anywhere near the bedroom. I would be snoring and farting all night.

Lisa- Do you use a torch to caramelize the sugar on the creme brulee or the broiler? (Easy cheat) Try vanilla sugar sometime and you'll enjoy it. :) If you ever make it up here, the Observatory restaurant has the best that's ever pleased my palette.
A funny thing- one of my customers is an "Iron Chef" champ. I was there at lunchtime once and while his reputation in the kitchen is world renowned, the kids had hot dogs for lunch.

Butane torch for the creme brulee. We use demerara sugar on it for the rich flavor. maybe I'll let it set with a vanilla bean.....thanks Willy!

Take care,
Lisa

Damn...them dogs look good.

I went with the Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and buttered corn for Xmas eve, the Banquets were on sale, 10 for $10.

Going to mom's for Christmas dinner in 2 hours and counting...it's a pile of real food for those that thought i was serious above.
