Have anyone used this Hoover for pre-vacuuming upholstery? Looks like it needs a hose extension to work properly.

Any other suggestions for a vacuum for this work?

Walmart sells a blue shark no belt and its awesome. The brushes rotate fast. Try it with a little dust cup. Its a handheld

Yup and the hose comes off to suck dirt out of corners on sofas and such. Try it and report back

DONT DO IT!

I had one of those and should have read the reviews.. the thing shuts off after it runs for only a little while. If you use it for 15 minutes sure but anything over 20 minutes and it over heats. (referencing the shark)

Get this:

lots of hose for upholstery... great suction.. so you can use for your hard surface prior to cleaning the hardwood or tile and grout, and it works wonderful for upholstery.
