Hoss 700 jet flow

Watch the video's and hopefully you can see my not so uniform spray pattern on a few jets. Sorry about the TM noise.
I picked this Hoss up a week ago used. It only has about 10 hrs on it between the original buyer and Me.

Anyway I have cleaned with 30,000th welder tip cleaner while off the machine. Brushed with brass toothbrush while running today doing video. Nothing helps the crooked spray pattern.

It does still get the job done very good. Nasty impacted, contaminated rental. You know the " Do what you can Clients! "

Can't view the video but as long as water is coming out it will flush the carpet. I wouldn't worry about the spray being straight. Take out the disc and blast it clean and then install the one to your liking.

Are the jets removable so you can soak them in a mild acid. If not maybe turn the head up and use the acid in a funnel bottle to open the jets. The problem is the hard water or chemicals blocking the orifice try some lime away works and it,s easy give it dwell time. jz

Yes I have removed them to clean with tip.
I can try CLR over weekend I guess.
Low hours on machine but guess it could of sat awhile for previous owner.

I just want this thing to be at peak performance. I just put the Teflon on 2 days ago. Like the machine alot.

Dorrel has emailed me a few questions so I will get it figured out I am sure.

i used both types of teflon glides, and i only recommend using them if your doing alot of residential, the steel ones are best for commercial glue down.

Brad..there is nothing wrong with the spray bars...what you see when the machine is tipped back is a lot different then when it is on the carpet....from what I am seeing the spray pattern looks really good and pretty even from the hight of the polymer glide...thats all that matters....

the square polymer glides are the best for that machine on all types of carpets...they dry just as good ( if not a little better ) then the metal one and allow the machine to float better...

not getting good enough agitation on nasty commercial glue down with the teflon glides, i have used the teflon both styles on cgd and on residential for a ton of hours and find that the steel work the best for commercial.

After watching on big screen last nite I 4th it.

Sapphire has offered to send Spray bars to us for free. Very generous since I purchased mine used. Told them whatever they think is best for my Hoss performance.

Gonna check them out with my sons Ant cooker Magnifying glass later. Then try and soak em.
