Can you look at any flooring type and come up with a cleaning plan without touching, scratching, sniffing or burning it?
With as many newcomers that I talk to I tell them to make it their full-time hobby, for at least 6 months, to touch scratch smell and burn every flooring type they come across on their daily adventures they should be able to fine tune those skills along with some additional trips to floor and decor, countertop manufacturers, the big box stores and anywhere else where they can see multiple flooring types from all angles..
To me its a natural part of my overly curious life to do this everywhere I go, and I've become quite good at it, even from just photos.
When we toured the Ronald McDonald House last week with 25 instructors and influencers, I asked if anybody could identify the tile in the front lobby.... and not a single one of them knew for sure.
Only my friend Brian got on his knees and scratched the floor to determine that it was not the porcelain he believed it was, but rather a green slate..
We're talking guys with 50 years experience in floor cleaning.....
How about you?
