My Bentley came with a metal glide. The Teflon glide I got from Cobb Supply wont fit with this metal glide on.

Any info I need to know Or Do I just force the metal one off?

Wow- that was easy. Thanks guys.

For anyone else, the stainless glide is installed with a flexible adhesive to be airtight.

It has to be pried off with a flat-blade screwdriver, starting at one end.

We recommend Goop for installing the Teflon glide to seal it also.

How is the new glide performing ??

First off, I much prefered the metal glide when I had a Bentley.

How do I know that I will like the No Name better than a Mytee product?

Look at a mytee lint filter.

Look at Toms.

Mytee has the only all stainless steel filter insert.

The glide we sent to John, was definitely PTFE (as is Teflon).

I have a Green Glide wand from Lisa for one of ours. The yellow one you sent by mistake when we ordered a new ss glide was delrin or similar.

Teflon is better.

The mute -refilled need to be completely redone, any decent vacuum in the line will cause it to collapse and then leak.untill it tears itself apart.

The screw on hydroforces filter sucks also as I find it difficult to get it the damn screw lid back on in the first few tries.

My techs don't like the Bentley wand-- I'm still trying to like it. They think the spray pattern isn't even and too close to the carpet-- I would think this is the same for the DevPro wand.

I like the light weight, swivel ability and price of the Bentley wand. I was hoping the glide would raise the wand head high enough to improve the spray pattern.

Dont waste time trying to fix the old Bentley.

Sell it quick and wait for the new version or the No Name from Devestator

The boys adjusted ours, welding as needed to get the 4 jets equally spaced and in the same plane and parallel.

But I just the Bentley last month from Cobb Supply-- is there a way of telling if I got the new or the old?

Oh and I changed the Brass fittings to the jets for more even spray pattern. It seems better to me but chimps still think pattern install correct--- but it usually takes them a few weeks to like new toys.

Its old.

Jeepers.

:hopeless: Geez everytime I buy a wand a better one come to market or I find out about the better wand shortly after.
I bought the Hoss then found out about the zipper, I bought the Bentley n now they will have a better one..Or to keep up with the Jones-- I should get a Devpro ... I should just be happy with my Ti wand...

but I like different wands or the RE for different jobs.
I like the Hoss when I don't feel like scrubbing with a wand and my arms are tired.
I like the Zipper when I want to dry the carpet more.
I got the Bentley to get under furniture better.
I use the glided Ti when I want to go Fast.
