Even after taking @Jim Pemberton course, I’m still baffled sometimes when it comes to labels...
Case in point, a new customer sent us this....
I’ve never come across the label, I know I need to test, I know to be cautious and careful....
But why did this come through as the label?

Three recommendations:

1. Don't trust labels
2. Don't trust labels
3. Don't trust labels

The fiber contents listed are what the upholstery is filled with underneath the fabric you are cleaning.

The cleaning recommendations are less than useless. Washable (wet cleanable) and Dry Clean mean you can do anything to it....but if you ruin it, its still your fault.

Test for fiber family, test for color stability.

Call me if you like as well.

I’ve only ruined one piece thus far in my cleaning career...
It was a doozy.... sectional, DISGUSTING, covered in dog oils, urine, and vomit, not to take away from the other soils on it, (three children under the age of 8..),
It was worth over 20k....
not a mistake I want to make ever again...
Yes it was linen, YES I used peroxide on it...

Sounds like it was ruined before you ever saw it.

it was ruined before you started, upholstery covered in filth is never worth 20k..
