Dawn and the first hour of daylight near any large body of water is magical.

Best thing about Pensacola Beach was it's location. You could watch the Sunrise over the Gulf water, and the Sunset over the water. Beautiful!

I can't even imagine not seeing the ocean. We, here, are actually based in NY so we see plenty of the big beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Grew up on the River Blackwwater a few miles in from the North Atlantic. While drift net fishing for salmon the most beautiful time of the day(some mentioned above also) was around dawn which in Ireland at summer time could be as early as 3.30am
I'e also seen the pacific and the Mediterranean

There's nothing like sleeping on the water in calm waters, and there's nothing worse when jackass in a cigarette boat buzzes you when're sleeping
