Most jobs 75 ft 2.5 and 50 ft 2in whip on either Green Horn or Titanium. When I need more I add 2.5 in 50 ft lengths. Dry in minutes with no dry stroke. 8)

I paid 400 for 100' at interlink over a year ago and have never hooked it up once. The best I plan to do is run two 8-10' sections from the tank hooked to dual 2.5 inch ports and then use a y and run 2 inch the rest of the way. I think it is overrated for the hassel associated with it. I can run 4 to the door with dual filters and take a few extra minutes to set up and get probably better suction. Eventually I will convert my legend to run 75' of 2.5 inch.

AND YOUR SMOKING DOPE

I use 1st 50 everytime, when it hits over 100' then the 2nd section comes out

hose reel....50 of 2, 50 of 2.5 hooked to another 50 of 2.5, then 50 of 2. Ifn i need more 2" for longer runs, they are on the wall

not that hard...most you dumb bums, only pull 150 anyway...how hard is it to pull 50 of the reel???

Fair?

you mean there is a winner involved here?

I don't give a pigs ass about who doesn't use it Mert, just want a head count of those that do.

Must be a incredibly difficult concept for you to grasp.

then again, most have 25' of 1.5 on there with their jets 6" off the ground spraying STRAIGHT into the carpet

I have 50' of pristine 2.5 in my garage. I used it a little, but the Butler hose reel barely holds 150' of 2" hose, & 2.5 was a pain. There's not enough room in back to carry it either.

If I had a single port machine then 2.5 would be the way to go, but with a dual port machine, dual filters, and running two hoses off the machine my wand screams. I have all the suction I need, don't have to deal with 2.5, and can carry 300' of hose on my reel.

We carry 100 feet of 2.5 on the hose real with a 50 ft section of 2". Almost all of my hose runs are 100-150 ft. I keep an extra 50 ft section of 2" on the truck. And can throw an extra set of 50 ft 2" on if needed. All Coolcuffed and connects to waste tank via 2.5 in coolcuff on greenie port.

On our Judson we run 2.5 to the back of the truck. the first off the reel is 100' of 2" then 50' of 2.5". Either hook up to the filter box installed by the back door. Verdict is still out but I think it is a good concept so we will see.

only on runs over 100ft.
The minimal benefit (if any at all) of 2.5 for runs under a 100ft isn't worth the hassle of using heavier bulkier hose

Our set up is similar to Al's
appx 85-90 ft 2" , never measured it, it's three pieces i cut.
then 50ft of 2.5"
More 2" under that

I run 42dr to my filter then 2.5 to the wand average 50' of 2.5 all my hoses are Cool Cuff every 25' so when I don't need the length I take it off and pull outside. I have gotten use to the 2.5 and love it. I don't like the fact that it does take up room on the hose reel though.
