I take the call

drive to the job

get out of the van

walk to the door

greet the customer

inspect the job

talk some more

walk out to the van

get the vacuum and the spotters

go back in

vacuum and spot treat

walk back out to the van and put up the vacuum and get the prespray

walk back in

prespray first couple of rooms

walk back out to the van

get the solution hose

walk back in with the sol. hose

walk back out to get the vacuum hose and wand

walk back in with them ...

this is boring ... and we have YOU to thank for this DAT

Inspections, quoting, tabbing, etc are NOT cleaning steps.

Pre vacuuming, pre Spraying, scrubbing, rinsing, dobbing, are.

I'm not sure where Grooming falls as its not totally necessary for soil removal.

After all those posts about grooming being part of the process unless one is a hack, and now its not necessary for the process? It doesn't do anything for soil removal, but it is part of proper application of protector, esp on cut pile.

set up corner guards

The only step that counts is the one that has the customer telling you thanks and giving you the cash.
