...When you slam other people's methods?

A cleaning franchise (and it isn't Chem Dry!) is making a strong statement in its advertising against another method. I guess these guys research things and think its a good idea.

Do you?

I generally don't comment on other companies quality or systems..................................... but I will voice my opinion to people about SS in respect to getting what you pay for.

I clean carpets. Whatever it takes, and sometimes it takes several tools. Our customers don't care HOW we clean them, just do it.

We try not to slam other methods to customers, you just never know when you might need to use the method you just slammed.

I might however explain why we would prefer to use one method over another. Ultimately if a customer is sold on a particular method and it's one that we are capable of providing we will probably clean it as they want.

We prefer HWE, but we can OP, Encap or even have a Host machine.

I sell clean carpet not methods... Although, I do have a personal preference for for VLM in many settings. That said, all the methods have thier place & scenarios when they're preferable...

You can have fun joking with cleaners about their preferred cleaning methods, but not with customers. When a customer asks about another company I either tell them they have a good reputation or I don't know that much about them. Comes across as unprofessional to knock another method or company.

Negative sales do work though, or the political wonks wouldn't do so much of it.

I just scare the shit out of them to even think of using another company

did you know that all those green cleaners leave residue that will cause birth defects for generations to come.
with my system the only system in the world that will neutralize those EVIL green chemicals

did you also know that a well known dry-cleaner uses Uranium 234 oxide in his chems to give it that glow after cleaning then I take my geiger counter and show them.

this works around 50% the other 50% go get hard floors ASAP
