How much do you charge for normal resi carpet cleaning?

What you get per foot, or per hour, won't translate geographically. The cost to live is a lot lower in some places and the average wage is also lower. Outside of the cost of machinery and chemical produced out of area, the person with a service business in an area with lower costs can make the same profit while charging a lower price than someone in a more expensive area.

Ernie wouldn't be able to pay his bills charging the going rate in Oklahoma (and his customers wouldn't respect a cleaner that works that cheap), and the guy in Oklahoma would be absolutely correct in thinking he could never charge Ernie's prces.
