Al asked me to post progress photos of his unit. Normally we paint our units with epoxy, but we are polishing this unit out for Al. So far it seems to be turning out fairly nice.
Al,Askal said:Hey Les! That looks swell! Now will those swirls peel if they get wet? JK. Keep up the good work. Painting a TM is like... I don't know what it is like. It's just stupid because it looks like shit in no time. One mans opinion but the important thing is I am right and the rest of the world is wrong.

Les,The unit will sustain 240 degrees on two standard flow wands. Each wand will produce 275 cfm.

Did you actually test the CFM at each wand?
did you jus CORRECT my CORRECTION???Greenie said:I guessing, the same reason everyone uses tri-lobes today, smaller sin wave to quiet, also that particular blower is robust.
edit: Okay...we should call it a V-wave as in Vawter.
Bob, I think Les was just splitting the "potential" cfm given from GD bench testing, he did point out the lower 225cfm number of what he thinks is actually passing through a glided wand.
As most here will testify, anything over 200cfm and 10"hg gives very good extraction.
