I measure what I take out from the factory. Then I write the number on the blower. I had that blower but can never remember numbers.

The important thing is to use the new High Temp Synthetic oil (XD) instead of the PD type.

Your right Larry, most guys should be running that high temp oil due to the fact the manufacturers are increasingly straining their blowers by choking them down to gain heat for the HX. I wont be straining this blower if his machine ends up running. I will be running it free and open as well as 30% under speed, as they should be run.

Who cares, run them hard. I only changed out the oil ever 5000 hrs. Looked fine when I changed it. I was using aeon pd. When I run out I'll switch to xd.

Any good non detergent 30wt is just fine...despite the paranoia sales people have.

Blower Temperature depends on the airflow thru the Truckmount.

Some designs run much hotter than others.
