I have been getting pretty good money for Stain removal and Urine treatment lately and am just starting to do carpet repair. Just bought a brand new Kool Glide Pro....from John Olson at Superior Cleaning Solutions...2 days and it was at my door...got to love John's pricing and fast shipping.... :D

So ...in general, what are you guys charging for carpet repair (patching)...how many of you are using the Kool Glide?

Repiar work has low overhead so, I am happy if I gross $75-$100 an hour.

Yeah, from the research I've done, it sounds like most guys charge by the hour for most repair. $75-$100 seems like it's in the ballpark. Steve Andrews has mentioned that he even has a day rate for larger commercial jobs. I think with repair, you have to take each job individually as far as pricing.

Thanks...I am always at the job performing other services...the unit is always unoccupied....so this is easy money for me. It allows me to earn another piece of the Rental Deposit pie.... :)

I'd have thought you'd be better off doing concrete work, whoever you are.

Incomplete Profile = incomplete answers.

Just testing to see if you can take it as easily as you dish it out.....

Mikey does not share all with his Admins but soon enough we'll be neighbors and so I'll be posting pics of your trailer and family, once I get the lowdown.

I do a few carpet repairs and I can say that I will charge alot more for occupied residential. I get about as much as ace said maybe $75 an hour maube a bit less for my main apt complex. But the beauty is on residential you can make some good money because you are now a specialist and the competiton is much smaller. Most installers wont come out for less than $200 so you can really be firm on your prices. Also if you learn to stretch carpet and reinstall pad you can do full blown urine decontaminations and maybe some small cat 1 and 2 water losses .
