We had a pretty challenging year due to the terrible winter of -26 degrees everyday....and the fact it would never quit snowing!
This was the end of February after getting back from MF 10
We were shoveling our way into clients homes....and it was -26 below everyday it seems!
March, April and May were pretty bad as the snow and ice did not quit until the middle of May
We saw it coming, but were not able to react as quick as a person would like....and really, we seriously could not give a job away at that time (which should be some of our nice months of income)
We quickly reduced our expenses and tried to manage the storm.
Have to say unfortunately we are down 15% and those 3 months were the reason
It also took quite awhile for our clients to start feeling better about everything after that winter.
October was our strongest month this year....and it kind of goes with people who would normally have some work done in the Spring, realizing....they hadn't had us in yet.
Now....2015 is off to a good start
I am leaving today for Florida for 3 weeks, and our Son in Law has the reins....
We already have some great jobs booked for the Month and are hopeful!
This winter has been mild so far, and if it remains the same, we are really excited to have those strong Months back in the Spring
