Commercial wise, OVERLOAD

I am thankful for the problem I have............more work than I can
keep up with.

I am glad that my daughter has agreed to move here to help me.

I'm not sure what it is about this winter that makes me feel like it's not a good winter.

This January we did the same as last January and February we have already got last Feb beat.

That does not mean it's a good month, just means we are doing better then last year at this piont

6 jobs in the last 6 weeks. I'm starving !! My only advertising is a small block ad in the YP and I've only gotten one call since Jan 14th from it. I just finished a nice tri-fold brochure and got it printed for .23 each. I am going to beat the street in the higher end neighborhoods the next two weeks. Still my first year so slow going is expected I guess. I've got to work on making my business more visible.

I am pretty busy. I was fearful going into winter but besides one week it has been great. That new postcard that everyone loved  is killing. I am booked solid off it for a couple weeks. Already returned the money on it and it still hasn't hit all the homes.

BNI has helped a little and my signage all over the place is great. I paid for my next few months advertising in advance so I can sock some addtl away this spring.

Jan was good. I did the same $ as last year, but without doing maintenance and house cleaning on rentals, just carpets. Feb has been slow. It is starting to warm up here so I am hitting the doorhangers pretty hard expecting March to start picking up.

Ice storms really suck!

This is the third one this winter.

Tonight: Freezing rain and sleet likely after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 20. Wind chill values as low as 7. East wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total nighttime sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: Periods of freezing rain and sleet. Some thunder is also possible. High near 27. Wind chill values as low as 7. East wind between 10 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible. New sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Thursday Night: Freezing rain and sleet likely. Cloudy, with a low around 23. Northeast wind between 7 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New ice accumulation of around a 0.1 of an inch possible. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Friday: A chance of freezing rain and sleet before noon, then a chance of snow and sleet. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. North wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Last months storm we had over an inch of ice. I'm getting really poor.

All the rain in Mississippi has increased restoration work and brought about several record sales weeks! Especially enjoy renting those e-tes units at $130/day.

Slow January, February has been my best $$ month ever. All I am doing it coupons door to door. Only did one small commercial, everything else is residential.
