HWE vs. VLM - Whats the opinions here?

Rental property of mine the tenant had put in some builders grade without even telling me, my plan was to rip it out & install laminate so sprayed some Vacaway Hot Knife X-Treme & grabbed the drill & was kinda surprised, I might just VLM it & get a couple more years out of the crappy carpet & save a couple bucks.

Units on the 2nd floor without an elevator so I wasn't about to carry anything heavy just to test, that little drill driver pad holder is great to have in the van.

Don't anyone tell Rick Gelinas, but we use Releasit on residential
Carpet all the time with great results. The protectant seems to keep it looking nice for a long time and the return trips are eaiser each time. Sometimes we combine the CRB extraction with HWE to unload heavily loaded areas.

But we've said all this before, neh?

Come next week we have another 20k at another facility and a couple of 4-5k jobs.

Its no magic. You'd be trained in a few minutes and experienced by the end. Cleaning is easy, getting the jobs is the only hard part.
