for the price of a lid .a mallet and some advice.......

it is a whole new machine .... I fired it up tapped on it some turned it off and spun the lid

fired it up tapped the lid.....and it pop ed down and my lift went higher then it has ever gone before

the whole machine sounds different and .most of all hardly no water in the lines........... It use to drown my leg when I would disconnect from the RX and now it barley drips...................

I called A/T and told them not to send another lid..I am going to leave good enough alone and just add the mallet to the tool box...............

Thanks for every ones help.........

lmao

I knew it!

Do like I do Jim, put your ass/hip against the driver's side wall and pretend like you're gonna give the lidded tank a sniff of your arm pit and shove that baby down tight.

My god, I bet you gained 20º right away.

I bet thats why the seal was all screwed up... All that air blasting it away...

You goof!

Goof ??......................how was I to know............

I could here the air .I could here the spring..I could here the ringing in my ears...........best to my knowledge this was normal because this is the way it has always sounded........

I have never messed with the tank..to my knowledge is wasn't giving me a problem...........every few days I would take off the lid and clean it and hose out the tank and keep going.......Until the gasket fell out....

I was always questioning the lift but it was not a real problem because I am still getting great dry times .........

:?
