I had a guy call today complaining about his glide not extracting water... when it got to.the point to talk about his truck mount and or portable. He said he had one of those American cleaning system truck mounts but did not know the blower size.... 😳

Surely all you idiots know what size blower you're cleaning with every day, correct?

It’s because most guys here are chief cooks and bottle washers

being the owner and an idiot are not mutually exclusive

What's the saying about "you can't help stupid"?
I told the guy that what he's experiencing was due to one of three facts.

-He had some sort of blockage in his vacuum system.
- He had a leak in his vacuum system
-or he had a very weak number three blower..

He was unwilling to address any of these and asked if he could just return the glide and get his money back.

I was in no mood to force the issue as I was driving around with Jim Eckman so I told him just send it back and hung up.

Best way to deal with it

A refund makes them go away forever and become someone else’s problem

A few helpful hints never hurt, but in weighing the cost of your time versus the lost profit and shipping fees, you'll find that refunds are less costly than your time and the toll annoyance takes on your inner peace.

A refund makes them go away forever and become someone else’s problem

A time honored tradition here .....

Reminds me of the time I bought a slide in truckmount for $1200 with 300 hours on it because the guy said it lacked vacuum and he bought a Butler.
I went to look at it, proceeded to detach the lid to the vac tank and the guy says "What are you looking in there for? There is nothing in there."
All I said at that point was load it up.
We also bought the Butler a few years later lol.

You're assuming he even has a basket and a blower filter
Speaking of filters I have the mytee unit came with stainless with the bottom base blocked with black plastic. I ordered a new style same but bottom is open with stainless holes. Greater vacum and air flow, well worth the small expense. jz
