Am I going to have to get glide/wand seperate no matter where I go??

I want a two jet 30-40" glided stair wand...what are my options?? One with a glide or one that I can actually get a glide for??

I made this one from a spare wand I had. It may not work for everyone, but I like it alot.

Jordan, why do you feel the need for a glide on a "stair" tool??

stair tools aren't hard to push, and unglided cleans better

Can you explain why stair tools clean better without glide??

How is it diff. from carpet???

Isn't unglided leaving it wetter than glided???

Thx

Yea, but it gives way more agitation unglided then glided.

the drying time is largely a myth, Jordan.
(With the exception of carpets that cause "wand lock down" )

Glides make life easier ..that's why we have them on our "carpet" wands .
There's some virtues to glides on upl tools too, but it's not for drying reasons

a slot cleans better on cut piles due to the "squeegee" effect the slot provides on the fiber bundles

I disagree with Larry about dry time "myth". We glide users get better dry times that no glide users. Take it to the bank.

Steve, have you done any side by side evaluations on same room, same day with identical wands on several different type carpets??

if so, can you share your findings of the time difference to complete dry ?
Was it 10% faster dry?
20, 30??

I curious how much they differ from my side by side evaluations .
I've done them with slot, hole and unglided using a Ti wand and cleaning just the way we do in the "real" world..
ie... pre-spray and extract

who here has actually done side by side evaluations with identical wands and perimeters ?

Larry Cobb is the only one I know of.
he found a 10% difference, if I recall

Good memory Larry;

I found about 4-5% more water removed with a 14" sealed Hybrid glide vs.
14" bare CMP wand.

Lift w/glide was about 1" higher also.

Hybrid GG have improved in design since I did that test.

It was completely saturated wet carpet.
