i need some heavy duty laundry soap

what kind of laundry soap do you guys use to clean the green stripped pads, i've tried all the regular crap and nothing seems to work too well. even with a 30min presoak.

You have the best laundry soap in the world right on your van. Why would laundry soap be any stronger/effective then your carpet cleaning solutions?

You would think the pads would have enough "laundry soap" in them to get them clean with maybe adding a little tide.

Maybe that's why some guys clean with tide? :shock:

Don't know how much it helps, but I usually add sodium percarbonate. Oxyclean, Judson Hot Sauce, etc.

Let it soak for half-hour or more.

I use this concoction on my cottons including the restaurant cottons....


gets em good every time...rarely do 2 washes..

might be over kill but..

shot of fels naptha...half cap of detergent...SCOOP OF COBBS LAUNDRY POWDER and full cap of bleach


the Cobb's powder has reallllly been cuttin the grease on the cottons lately...

Is there such thing as overkill? At what point will it damage the pads and then make them so they don't clean as well?

Back in The Chem-Why days, they said not to use bleach because the pads wouldn't clean as well.....They were right.

Not sure about pads today.
