Got home from the Bay Area last night. Discovered a Hot Water plumbing leak under my slab. Then this morning I rode my bike in 35 degrees to get my van from shop. Got to my first job and discovered I forgot to put my vacuum and extension cord back in the van. Then went to fire up the 870 and the battery was dead. The key was left on for three days and drained the battery. I had to jump the tm off the Promaster battery. Good thing I carry a really long set of jumper cables just for that reason. I ended up prescrubbing with my Orbot since I had no cord for my CRB.
My first two jobs were both a lot more work than originally stated by the customer. The first job was a large house with almost 2k sqft of carpet. The second job had paint everywhere and required about 1.5 hrs of spotting work. I ended up being almost 4 hours late for my third job. I did call her and let her know I was going to be later than expected. She was cool about it.
I'm glad today is over! When my TM wouldn't start at the first job, I was telling myself I should have taken the day off.
