Oh man did I have a great time at the Interlink CAD.
Laura, Doyle, & Reg were all there; along with local cleaners I don’t usually get to see or haven’t seen in years.
Doug Rice was also there, he posts here on MB and I got a chance to visit with Mike Brummett and his crew too.
The beautiful Mrs Ortbahn, she is such a little darling. It was fun to see her work, she’s smooth how she draws men in like a magnet. They come in with their defenses down and then hits them with all the data on the units. Gawwwd men are such suckers….uhhh
but not me of course.

She did explain to me why I need an
Everest….and that I need to give up on winning one. Hahha
I love this little gurl!
Doyle Bloss and I had some good discussions about the new unveiling coming from
Hydramaster, the old days, current industry situations, sports (CU, KU) and just life in general. I’d never spoke to Doyle more than a “Hi” in all the decades I’ve known him. Its obviously been my loss, he is great guy. Very nice, funny and just great to spend time with. Enjoyed the time with you Doyle!
Reg was so nice too. It was great to see him again after meeting him in Atlanta. He’s so very gracious and he came to the back and hung out with us all for a while talking about equipment.
I left the CAD day on that same euphoric high feeling you get from a
Mikeyfest. Amazing people in our industry both young & old. It truly makes one proud to be associated with them, if even just for a brief moment.

Whelp, back to reality! We are just busier than long-tailed cats in a room full of rocking chairs.
I guess it’s time for me to take my place and get back to rowing with the rest of the slaves. ; )
