....at around 20 glowing dog spots in a small livingroom, 1bedroom apartment.

Homeowner used me 4 times before... and every time she gets mad when I show the urine spots with my UV...."my dog doesn't pee in here...I never see him do it"

Well, ok.

Easy money! If they don't exist in your opinion then I don't have to deal with them either. Cool beans. You can't smell it and you won't take my word for it, so there - the carpet is glowing just 'cause..

When do you just give up and let it go -and do as little as you have to- to make the carpet somewhat clean, if they don't want to accept the idea that it is their dog peeing everywhere?

See no evil, smell no evil, must be no evil. As long as she doesn't call you the next day and accuse you of peeing on her rug.

early in my career I showed a lady all here doggy spots and she too got upset and said now way, Not MY Precious.

In my mikeyp way, I responded, "well if it's not your dog you may want to keep an eye on your father (who lived with her) because someone is pissing all over this carpet"

Management was waiting for me when I returned to the shop, needless to say..

I kept it mostly to myself...

No worries.

She says it's not Fido.... She doesn't agree to the glowing spots...ok, it's really not there.

Just clean...collect check.. Say good bye... See you in 11 months or so. (if you make it...statistically, I have a better chance to do so...)

With the price of that Harvard Pet StainOff, it's a no brainer to use that at $13.00 a gallon.... Much cheaper than say Hydracide/Odorcide to be a "give away"... Try to charge a couple more cents a SF to make up for it after walking the job/ scoping the work...

It does get frustrating when people are in denial... Someone or thing is doing it... If you don't treat it, it'll smell once you start cleaning... Pray and spray is my advise, let God sort it out....

Since the smell wasn't there, are you sure they're not previous spots that have already been treated? I've mentioned it a couple times on different threads. What color was the reflections? Bright white/purplish, or a yellow gatorade/color reflection?

I wonder how much antacid and/or alcohol was consumed by those who had to manage you....

The smell was there...but not to her.

Surely, some of you animal owners can attest to that: you are so used to the dog smell, you don't even know it...but for those of us not keeping animals, we can tell right away.

I'm with Jimmy.

They can't smell it anyways so just add some parfume to your prespray and rotary extract.

Quit trying to be a Urine Removal Superhero.
