I have been using Procyon Extreme and Procyon Plus Powder for the last 2 years and I am very happy with it. It is my main cleaning solution for in home and commercial cleaning and I appreciate all of the safe aspects of your products and emphasize them to my customers. I also have a small rug washing operation and I am hesitant to use Procyon on delicate wool and silk rugs. Especially on bleeders. For years I have been using wool rug specific cleaning agents and sours for these rugs. We use combinations of shampoos, presprays and rinse agents that have been formulated to prevent excess bleeding, browning of cotton fringes and pile distortion. For me, it's a bit of a stretch to use a product at 10pH on a Persian rug but maybe I'll start doing some testing. I'll let you know how it works. You could always send some more brochures to Sam in Richmond with my name on them. Thanks Ivan.

I have had the opportunity to work with several company's that clean some high grade wool area rugs. One company explained it best. He pre -sprays using Soap Free Extreme and rinses with warm water. He then places the area rugs upside down on his PVC drying rack to prevent bleeding and the corners curling in the wrong direction and allows a natural dry. He removes the rugs from the rack and wets down the cotton fringe using our soap free spot remover and allows the fringe to dry naturally. He has said that he has never had an issue and the rugs and they are bright and the fringe are absolutely gorgeous.
