If U were buying a door seal for sealing the doors from cold air, or what ever, which brand would you buy?? Which brand is the best in door seals, and ease of use?

I personally like the one Bane sells. Check it out before buying some clunky thing. You don't need a bag or anything since it folds flat and takes no space.

Thanks, Lee. I think a jam seal is a step up in service, especially in the Winter around these NE Ohio parts. I often thought that I wouldn't want my door left open to the weather....hot or cold.

Yes in our area we need it just about any time of year.

I don't think I've ever done a job without having that Bane drape on the door.

I'll 2nd Banes "door drape"... High quality, easy to store, folds up in seconds.

Lee told me about it three years ago(thanks Lee) and it still looks brand new!

Deluxe Door Drape

This Naugahyde door drape fits most commercial and residential pedestrian doors.
In the cold winter months, this device helps keep the cold weather outdoors.
In the hot summer months, it keeps the air conditioning indoors and insects outdoors.
A “must” for any truck-mount carpet cleaning operation.

Order Form:
Cat. No.: Item Size: Item Price: Desired Quantity:

30485 Deluxe Door Drape $109.95

I'll third the Bane Drape. Thinks don't usually last long in my van but this Bane Drape has had daily use for at least three years and still looks new. Keeps out the cold air in the winter (I will augment with blankets and down jackets if it's cold enough) and seals the airconditioned air and keeps the bugs out in summer.

Door Jam. Includes carrying bag, a door stop; will fit doors up to 9' tall.

Scott, I have that one, but it sure does not work on a 9' door. Is that new?

The longer / taller size came out in February 2010. For a while both sizes where available. Now they all fit the taller doors.

We bought one of each to see how they stand up in real-life use but there was a concern about how long the vinyl would last on the Bane product before it started to crack. Good to hear about the longevity.
