My wife was asking me the other day to put our house on my cleaning schedule. I asked her if she wanted HWE or VLM. She said, “Use the truckmount”. She went on to say that I should quit with the VLM. That my customers trusted me but didn’t necessarily believe me. I gave it some thought and realized how much I had to explain VLM. Hoses and a carpet wand, never any questions.
Haven’t had any complaints but I believe that I have sold myself as much as I have sold my customers. I’m not giving VLM a label of right or wrong. It’s not right for me anymore.

This is my 13th year in business. I’m enjoying life being self employed. The first couple of years I hated it and wanted to quit. She kicked me in the ass and kept me on track. Her opinion holds a lot of weight.

I explain nothing, i just deliver results. So far, i use tm for urine, tiles & grout. I just did several vlm on rugs and carpet this week so far...

I don't feel like he's worried about method as much as efficacy.

Some people have trouble sleeping at night with spray, rub & run in a home.

Cleaning the tops of the fibers works great on commercial carpet where there is no depth to the pile.

You're expecting too much of the system if you're wanting the pad to pull soils from more than the top of the fiber.

I would suggest you HWE your rugs, then once the bulk of the soil is removed, pad for appearance.
