I mean seriously, how many of your decades long customers have you seen retire and die of boredom less than a year later, I've lost count.

If you're tired of what you're doing then find something else to do.

Options baby. Expired out of 5 positions today and got filled on 800 shares of SLB. Selling calls on Monday and will make more on the upswing.

It was a good week. I just need about $60k more in my personal account and I'll be able to trade options full time. Not saying I’ll stop my cleaning, but it will be nice to not have so much financial stress.

My father enters his 90th year (how he puts it) in October. He is excited about a new program we are working on, designing visual aids and looking for the best way to deliver the message. He’s lost weight (diet and exercise) and has been taken off a few meds.

He is still alive and more importantly enjoying life because he has something he finds to be important to do every day.

He definitely does important things every day! Good on him. I suspect you will be the same when you reach his years….

1. It’s true. I fell out of the ugly tree as a kid and hit every stick on the way down.

2. I don’t find it troubling that you don’t find me attractive Marty. Respect you as I do ( and all kidding aside, I do), I’m really glad you don’t find me to be appealing...in that way.

God bless him, still adding value going into year 90 ! I will always be forever thankful for his presentation in January 2002 at the upholstery school. He said " folks everything just changed " referring to the 9/11 attacks. I have learned to listen to people who can tell you where they were standing when Pearl Harbor was attacked . He was of course right, and three years latter I sold my security guard business off after it quadrupled in value overnight. That decision hailed back to his comments about " there will be a lot of companies that don't survive this but there is also a lot of opportunity that you have to search out and fight a little harder for. " Again he was correct on that and the same advice applies post pandemic or delta variant / covid 2.0 , you can thrive and NOT just survive if you preserve. That's why I file my notes from these classes, conventions and key conversations. History really does repeat itself.

Thank you for sharing that Randy.

It will mean a lot to Lee to know this, as we work on our program this morning.

When he told you that, he was 71 and people had been asking him when he was going to retire for 5 years already.

I get asked when I’m retiring daily. Good gosh, what does that mean. I know what it means for an employee at corporate. It would mean no 8-5
or whatever, lunch straight up at noon, but I haven’t done that since I was a young kid with my 1st. wife.

Its been two years or so since you visited, right?

How often do you text/Skype/call or PM with Mama John?
been 1.5 years and might not get to see her until next year. 😭
I probably could manage to see her sooner- but it would be very expensive and difficult.
We text/talk every night. 😍
