slipping off this rear step bumper

Can I put something over this that’ll make it unslippery?

Anything you box drivers have?

go to an autoparts store they might have something. Rolled self-adhesive anti-slip has sand on it

Allot of times my shoes are wet from my prespray on the carpet, making it even more slippery. I don't think any of that stuff will help.

Could I get marine carpet (hopefully black) to adhere to this?

Put a hand rail on it while you’re at it pussy
Maybe a pad for your Vagina as well...

I'd do the bedliner with sand sprinkled in it to see if that helps... That diamond plate surface will be hard to get the Skate board grip tape to stick Imho... Or you can always pull out your ramp and put some grip tape on that but then you'd certainly need a hand rail on both sides...:stir:

Let me give you a better description of my side...

Truck parked a little crooked on a hill
Morning dew on the grass
Some good slippery surfactants on the bottom of the shoes.
and when my pigeon toed 6'5" clumsy ass steps off the truck to rush in the job...
DAMN! Now my hip just broke

Why not wear metal cleats like the old school football players?

Since we're throwing out ideas on how to be safe, here's a good one. I like to do things that save time. For example, I shower with my dirty dishes and wash them while in there. While shampooing my hair, I rub the dirty dishes against my head, scrubbing it clean with my hair. 2 for 1. Saves time and water. Another method I use often is I clean all my tools on my bed. The picture below is how I do it.

Happy I can help.

I've slipped from the box floor before onto the ground before--
now I've learned to Slow down and hold on to the hand grip when entering and exiting any van or box truck.
Slip and bust a knee on that stuff you'd wish left it alone...

I've slipped done the splits from the bed to the ground... I step off slowly now...holding a handle mounted on the frame...

kinda trendy...
