Inline temperature gauge on wand

Where do I find the components to place a temp gauge on a wand?
Any CC distributors carry them, or are they borrowed from other industries?

I made one from a digital oil temperature gauge made for a motorcycle, powered by a 9v battery. It's been gone a few years now...

I used to have a chemtex wand with one. I looked like is was made out of a Thermometer for taking food temps.

Found these on Ebay. I think they would work fine. From the prices I have seen while searching, I think $8.95 is a a steal. They are made in Holland by ENFM. I thought they would have been easier to find on my own, but they are not. It seems that they are sold mainly as "boiler gauges". Get em' while there hot.

I would be concerned with the pressure rating on something like this.
Boilers usually operate in the 15-30 psi range.

I just ordered one. $12. Now I need to figure some brokedick way to attach it in-line. The temp sensor looks to be one inch long so I will have to find something it can screw into thats large enough and can also have two 1/4 openings. Probably be better off ordering one from Olson at superioncleaningsolutions on EBay for $70 after it bursts in some ladys nice living room.

This one is not listed as a boiler gauge, but only as a "bimetal thermometer". I found better success in finding similar gauges by using the "boiler gauge" search. Good point on the pressure issue. I could not find anything on ENFM website regarding pressure rating. Maybe I will email them.

To anyone interested in these gauges, I have contacted a distributor of ENFM gauges and he assured me that these gauges can handle the output in temp and pressure.

The thermowell of this unit is brass which can be used up to 400 F.
If you were to take the 1/2" npt threaded well, then the 500 psi should be no problem at the max. temperatute of 250 F."
