I'm experimenting with 2-1/2" to 2" wyes. I want to have the two 2" tubes parallel and have an airflow path as straight as possible, yet I don't want to resort to expensive mandrel bends to do it. My first thought was what you see here.
It uses only 30° angles and has a pretty straight shot, but the two 2" tubes are only 1" apart. This is plenty for cuffs or straight 2" hose - but would it be an issue for other connector setups? Basically anything you put on the 2" end could not exceed 3" OD. What do you think?
