2nd attempt to post this. I was timed out the first time around!

It's alway tacky to see one supplier put down another. Even when he tries to disguise it.

I have that problem with Olsen, too.

Marty;

I'm not trying to put down any manufacturer.

Judson has been around a long time and built lots of good machines.

Chris asked me a question and I responded based on the machines I have seen.

BS ... all you had to say was that you like them both, or that you are not familiar with their designs well enough to comment.

It's always tacky. Whether it's a cleaner or a supplier.

Larry, If you had to sell only one chemical line other than your own who's would it be?

and do you really see the need for more than two types or pre sprays?

OK Marty, lets see exactly where you stand.

You've had a LG heater unit from TCS.

Now you have a Vortex w/ HX.

Do you still think a carpet cleaner should go with a LG heater TM ???

Is there anything new we can look forward to coming from Cobbs Supply?

Chems, tools, machines, a CSR with100% of their hearing?

Chemspec has some unique chemistry.

Yes; I do see the need for several presprays.

We do try to limit the number we offer.

The point is, Larry, that it's tacky to make a judgement concerning one of your competition on an open forum. You don't see Les, or Duane, or any other competitors of yours here stealing time, or making comments. It's ok for me to talk, because neither of the two, or you, are competitors of mine. It WOULD be tacly of me, low class even, to talk badly of one of my local competitors in front of a mutual prospective customer. ESPECIALLY if he, or she, was a fellow Mikey's board poster, and my comments had the potential to hurt his business.

Good Question....

We are currently working on some new chemistry that has the potential to replace solvents in presprays without any loss of performance.

I am playing with some new UV lasers to take spot removal to a new level.

A new portable machine that can handle hi-flow carpet cleaning as well as grout cleaning at hi-pressure.

We do have some new CSR's.

Can you describe 4 different scenarios where 4 different juices would be needed?

I personally need a alkaline and a acidic prespray to get by.

I can boost the Alkaline to do just about anything I want... Degrease, deodorize, brighten or save the fibers soul from the evil doers and haters the plague this industry on Mikey's Board dot com

Is this thing still on?

Larry, are enzimes considered safe for cleaning. Meaning if one uses a pre-spray with enzimes, can you call that safe for kids and pets..ect.

sure, why not... from what I understand pre-spray oxidizers continue to work after they've been rinsed out

Sure;

1. Non-Detergent Prespray- builders, enzymes, natural solvents, oxidizers

2. Green Prespray- no solvents at all, CRI SOA

3. Powder Prespray w/ Enzyme, w/ Oxidizer, w/d Limonene (PowerMax)

4. Liquid Prespray with solvents to handle heavy grease

Acid Prespray would be #5

Those are 4 types but what unique situations, other then a tree hugger who wants to drink your pre spray, would call for the others?

Are you saying Powermax wont work in a greasy spoon?

Enzymes are probably the cleaning method of the future.

They are considered a very green method of cleaning.

However, since they are proteins, and foreign to our bodies, some people do have allegic responses to them.

There is no golden bullet.

No, It will work fine. But some people insist on using a powder, while others insist on a liquid.

Customers dictate the type of prespray used by some cleaners.

And you Califoriuns started a lot of this "Green BS"

Thanks for all the support, guys.

I'm turning in for the night.

Of course I'll still be around if I didn't get to your question.

Thanks,

Larry
