iodine removal?

I have a client that spilled a bottle of iodine on the carpet. Any secret remedies?

Jon don's brand Matrix has a spelielty spotter just for these types of spills. Its called Red Cross. Its designed for the iodine, Betadine and Blood Stains. Here is a link:

If it's on a good condition olefin, sometimes you can get good improvement, especially if it's fresh.

If it's on nylons or wool, grab JB's knife

1 teaspoon sodium thiosulfate to 1/2 cup warm water or use a thiosulfate bleach neutralizer.

Apply to the iodine stain, and watch it disappear.
