I have always liked my old phones.

Then along came the newer ones & I was told to text people.

Great, except I could never figure out how to text.

All this high fallutin new technology stuff gets a bit confusing for an old fart.

Then recently I bought an Apple I4 & I found how easy it is to text.

Many phone functions I can operate, sort of.

90% I probably have never looked at let alone use.

Now you tell me to get an Ipad or Ipod.

What's the difference. ??

How can I use them in my business. ??

What will they do for me. ??

I think I'll save up for a day and get the new one just released down under.

Apple Computer announced today that it has developed a computer chip that can store and play high fidelity music in women’s breast implants.

The iTit will cost $499 or $599 depending on speaker size.

This is considered to be a major breakthrough because women have always complained about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

Thank you all.

I tried to run Service Monster on an Ipad today. No go. What do you have to do to make it run? This was my first experience with anything apple. Sorry to be behind the times.

I would really like to use this over a laptop to go paperless from here on out.

lol.. too many fricken I's to keep track of!

on a sad note... I can't put the new Imovie on my Ipad version 1.. :x

You can get iMovie on the iPad 1. It just takes a workaround. Google it or message me and I can help you out.

The iPad 2 is pretty sweet. There are apps you can use for invoicing with no problem. You will need the 3g model though to email invoices to customers. The iPad is definitely a luxury, if you can afford it go for it. By far the best way to get content i,e news, email, internet browsing, ect.

It is my understanding that service monster will not run on the iPad. I believe they are working on an app or browser compatibly.

Shorty,

The iPad is just a big iPhone without the phone. It works the exact same way. Its just a better experience because of the larger screen.

Thanks Tim,
you explained that simple so that even I could understand.

I don't think I need one A.T.P.I.T.

On a side note, my Apple I4 packed it in and it's been in the Doctors for nearly two weeks now. :x

Not impressed.

First up it started rejecting my finger.

They tell me it's because I sweat................

Hello, I live in the tropics and don't work in an air conditioned office.

Then the only way I could hear people was to put the bloody thing on speaker phone, just bloody lovely.

I nearly bought another one just so I could jam it................. and make it a pear.

Or is that pair. :!:

Anyhow, I got this stupid old thing again and still can't text. thathurts

Plus I don't have all my contacts.

Modern electronic gadgetry is not meant for fossils.

I think I better go before I say something I may regret. shiteatinggrin

Sorry your having problems with the i4. I know the apple stores have replacement phones at the ready for customers still under warranty that are having issues with their phone. Could be a problem with water damage from your post about sweating, as to why they just didn't replace it for you on the spot. If that is the case, you probably will continue to have problems after you get your phone back. Consider the fact that the i4 is a mini computer in your pocket, How well would your computer fair with water on it.

Consider a blue tooth headset for times when you are working hard or sweating a lot to keep the moisture way from the i4.

Good luck shorty.

P.S. If you are unhappy with your iphone 4, now is the time to sell it on ebay as they are going for upwards of $800 for perfect working phones and $400 + for water damages iphones not working. Crazy Huh?

I think you're missing the point.

Anyone living in the tropics that is doing manual work is going to sweat.

When I bought the phone, I paid extra for an shield on top of the face.

So the phone is not actually getting moisture on, or in it.

If they are selling phones that will not tolerate this climate, then I believe the phones are being sold for a purpose that are not made for.

This, to me, is fraudulent selling.

But I'm not losing any sleep over it. shiteatinggrin
