Elderly lady with a very thick English accent called me this afternoon. Very proper woman. Asked if Brady was in. “No ma’am he’s not here . Can I take a message?” This is Mrs. Churchill. Ask him to call me please.

She was Brady’s first appointment this morning.
He called me back later and said she wanted him to re-clean a spot, but didn’t want to get him in trouble.

See, even your clients know about your grumpy attitude....

I found it exciting to read his post!
He doesn't have much of an Imagination and he tries so hard!
His kollege edumaction only translates into a 4th grader up here.

I did my best to put on a (fake) smile when a caller asked "don't send the old guy".

When they call here oftentimes they ask if the older gentleman will be coming.

I must have a goud repataSHUN.

They know I take my time when cleaning. What they don't know is that is all the faster I can move.

I can remember in the past filling in for one of my best techs on some personal days.
I would get asked if I was going to be as good as him.

I would politely say "I hope so, I trained him"

You could just politely turn the table on them...and quietly say something to shock them.

"No, the old guy has been boxed up...thank you for your concern, the heirs will surely take care of you".

They'll never say anything like that again. 😄
